Regardless of your political leaning, this is just plain funny…
Note: This is an exact replication of a National Public Radio (NPR) interview between a female broadcaster, and US Army General Reinwald who was about to sponsor a Boy Scout Troop visiting his military installation.
FEMALE INTERVIEWER: So, General Reinwald, what things are you going to teach these young boys when they visit your base?
GENERAL REINWALD: We’re going to teach them climbing, canoeing, archery, and shooting.
FEMALE INTERVIEWER: Shooting? That’s a bit irresponsible, isn’t it?
GENERAL REINWALD: Don’t see why, they’ll be properly supervised on the rifle range.
FEMALE INTERVIEWER: Don’t you admit that this is a terribly dangerous activity to be teaching children?
GENERAL REINWALD: I don’t see how. We will be teaching them proper rifle discipline before they even touch a firearm
FEMALE INTERVIEWER: But you’re equipping them to become violent killers.
GENERAL REINWALD: Well, you’re equipped to be a prostitute, but you’re not one, are you?
The radio went silent and the interview ended.
And all I could think was, GO ARMY

Please skip the introduction and the conclusion next time. It gives away that you’re either a rebellious teen looking for approval or a total asshole looking for approval.
Bottom line is, the joke is fun because the interviewer called for it, but it doesn’t make the answer less offensive. Had the general been a bit better endowed in matters of spirit, he’d have found something just as funny without going under the belt.

Mokawi, lighten up! The intro was necessary because it lends “credibility” to the situation (assuming it is true of course!). The story is hilarious and needs no analysis or commentary on its lack of political correctness

Oh, I have nothing against politically incorrect jokes, don’t get me wrong. I love dead baby jokes, I just don’t introduce them with a comment saying it’s appropriate for everyone, including children and church moms.
